Greetings, Summit Families!

We are happy to report that many of our staff members received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine last week. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility last Thursday when we had to dismiss early. We are so grateful for the healthcare workers and community members who made this possible!

STUDENT COUNSELING
GRADES 4-12
Thanks to a newly formed partnership with Spalding University School of Professional Psychology, we will have a Doctoral Student available to work with students (grades 4-12) individually and in classrooms under the supervision of Dr. Zack Thieneman.

If you would like your student to participate in one-on-one therapy, full details and forms can be found in last week's communication from Mrs. Hoffmann.
SCHOOL PICTURES
RETAKE/MAKEUP DAY - FEB. 4
Please let us know if your student will be having their picture taken on this day. It will be a FREE DRESS day for those students.

SENIOR PICTURES - FEB. 4
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the picture studio is unable to supply Tuxes and Drapes this year. Seniors should wear dressy/casual attire on picture day instead (a nice button down shirt with or without a tie for boys). We will provide more information leading up to picture day.
RETURN TO SCHOOL SAFETY
  • Continue to follow all recommended safety guidelines outside of school hours including proper use of face coverings, social distancing, hand washing, and avoiding large gatherings
  • If your child or anyone in your family is exhibiting signs of illness, be sure to speak with a physician prior to sending your child to school
  • Temperatures will be taken prior to exiting vehicles - please help us obtain a quick and accurate reading by not overheating your car
  • Masks should be worn at all times except while eating or directed by a teacher
  • Lunches should be brought in disposable paper sacks - no microwaves available
  • Water bottles should be sent with students daily as fountains will be closed
  • Masks and physical distancing are expectations on all playgrounds
Have a great week!
