Though the weatherman has been quite indecisive of late. … leafy green trees, flowers popping with color and nightly serenades by a chorus of peepers and bull frogs, seem to say summer is just around the corner!

June 14th: Northern Stage’s Summer fun begins with "Sense and Sensibility”.

A playful new adaptation of Jane Austen’s beloved novel follows the fortunes (and misfortunes) of the Dashwood sisters – sensible Elinor and passionate Marianne – after their father’s sudden death leaves them financially destitute and socially vulnerable. Set in gossipy late 18th century England, with a fresh female voice, the play is full of humor, emotional depth, and bold theatricality. Sense and Sensibility examines our reactions, both reasonable and ridiculous, to societal pressures. When reputation is everything, how do you follow your heart?  Learn More

260+ artist from around the world sent us COWS!

How did this happen?

Well as most things at the MSM it was a fever dream. While confined to bed with a familiar illness, one of the volunteers saw this image posted on Facebook in the group "Maximalist Design and Decor" by Megan Lane Patrick from Ohio.

The volunteer reached out to the original poster and asked if they would be willing to loan the exhibit to the MSM. This question was met with a quick "No Way! it's too hard to hang!" (yes, we laughed as we totally understand!) So...let's make our OWN wall! One thing led to the next, and here we are! We have people participating from ALL OVER THE WORLD! from Finland to Australia! Painting parties popped up. People did them on their date nights. Some people did them as gifts and some as challenges. People ages 2 to 93 participated. LEARN MORE
