Hot Diggity Dog!
The Chicago Dogs professional baseball team’s mascot, “Squeeze,” a fuzzy yellow creature who resembles a mustard bottle, spiced up the holidays with a visit and gifts for Azpira Place of Lake Zurich residents.

Azpira Place’s two directors of community relations, Jenneen Hansen and Jessica Meyer, donned hot dog costumes to escort Squeeze around the community grounds, where he cheered to residents and shot off confetti cannons before handing out cards and team swag!
“Squeeze’s appearance and gifts brought some much-needed pizzazz to an unprecedented holiday season,” says Hansen. “We look forward to cheering for the Dogs at Impact Field this summer!”

Hello New Year
As Azpira Place of Breton residents look forward to the vaccine and better days ahead in 2021, they rang in the New Year with good music, good food and good friends along with a celebratory toast.
Happy Hanukkah
Azpira Place of Lake Zurich safely celebrated the first night of Hanukkah with homemade latkes before making their own paper menorahs.

LOVE for the Shelter Pets
Azpira Place of Breton resident Sharon made a tie blanket to donate to the Humane Society of West Michigan to provide some comfort to a shelter pet awaiting adoption.
