December Case Count Update
Cases of COVID-19 continue to be ever present in the Rio Rancho and Sandoval County areas. As of Thursday, Dec. 16, Rio Rancho Public Schools has seen 174 positive COVID-19 cases in students, staff or contractors on our campuses during the month of December. This compares to a total of 298 cases for the entire month of November.

Our Rapid Response Team continues to conduct contract tracing, disinfecting and tracking whenever a case is identified.

We would like to remind students to continue to wear a mask indoors, practice social distancing, wash their hands frequently, cover coughs and avoid touching their face to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Together we can have a safe and healthy holiday season.
