November 3, 2020
Happy November!

We're just weeks away from our 2020 Annual General Meeting - will you be joining us? It will be a short and to the point virtual meeting to update you, our members, look back on 2019, and refocus for 2020/2021 and beyond. And, don't forget to nominate yourself or another member for the Board of Directors! Nominations close tomorrow at midnight!

The Royal Canadian Legion launched the 2020 National Poppy Campaign earlier this week. The Legion helps thousands of veterans each year and makes significant positive changes in their lives. There are over 1,300 branches of the Royal Canadian Legion across Canada, and about a third are close to closing in the next few months - it's more important than ever to show our support. We encourage you to donate and help raise awareness for the Poppy Campaign by sharing ready to download graphics on social media.

Please don't hesitate to reach out - we'd love to connect with you!

Stay well. Stay safe.

We hope you will join us virtually at the 2020 Annual General Meeting on November 19! Your voice is important.

We will look back at our accomplishments and activities over the past year, talk about upcoming initiatives and opportunities for our members, and meet and vote in the 2020 Board of Directors.

Last Call for Nominations

Are you interested in becoming more involved with your Chamber? Do you want to have a say in the programming and direction of activities going forward? Do you know someone who fits this bill? Nominate someone for the Board of Directors today. (Yes, you can nominate yourself.)

We look forward seeing you there - virtually!
2020 Legion Poppy Campaign Launched

Every year, The Royal Canadian Legion conducts the Poppy Campaign, along with thousands of their members who volunteer from coast to coast to coast, to raise funds in support of Veterans and their families. Poppies are distributed freely, but generous donations are invaluable.

This year, more than any other, the Grimsby Legion needs our support to ensure that they can continue their important work supporting our Veterans. We are joining chambers across the country to support Canada's heroes by supporting our local legion's Poppy Campaign.

Remembrance Day is fast approaching. Help us raise awareness for the Campaign by sharing it on social media and other channels. Click here to access graphics ready to download, like the ones below.
