Georgetown will honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with the MLK Initiative’s John Thompson Jr. Legacy of a Dream Award Virtual Ceremony on Monday, January 18 at 6:00 p.m. live on the Georgetown University Facebook page.
In addition, the Center for Social Justice Research, Teaching and Service will present its annual Teach the Speech workshop on Tuesday, January 19, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. RSVP to attend. MedStar Health researchers invite you to be a part of a multi-site, CDC-funded COVID-19 Community Research Partnership study, looking to see how the virus has affected the communities it serves. Participation in the study involves answering questions online and, for some volunteers, an in-home blood test for antibodies to COVID-19 to determine if you’ve been sick with the virus in the past.
