Teenagers in Grades 8-12 are invited to participate in a multi-faceted ministry at Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church. You're encouraged to join Youth Director Rick Belbutoski and other adult leaders for a variety of ministries, events, and ways to serve your neighbor in the name of Jesus Christ.
Hello Hennepin Youth and Families,

I'm so proud of the conversations we had during our Youth Night call last Sunday. We dedicated our 1/31 zoom call to learning about some of the lesser known African American leaders and innovators.  Ella was courageous enough to take it a step further and create a video clip which was shared on Facebook and Instagram. Check it out!

I'd love it if others followed Ella's lead so we could continue to celebrate Black History month this way. There are lots of ways to celebrate and do live together below.

Grace and Peace,

Rick
Take a Break on Wednesday's at 3:30 pm

School weeks are hard for so many reasons, and it's hard to do life separated from community. Starting Wednesday January 27th, Rick is inviting youth to drop in for a zoom call to talk about whatever is needed. Homework, relationships, parents, whatever a youth need is why this call exists. This call will help carry youth through the week with a little extra encouragement and a chance to see their friends' faces.

Being Anti-Racist: Read, Learn, Act, Impact:
A Reading & Discussion Group for Parents
Weekly on Sundays at 7:30pm on Zoom

Join a group of parents, grandparents, and other adults on Sunday evenings at 7:30 p.m. We discuss great books, learn through conversation, and support each other as we take action steps to be anti-racist within our daily lives. All while trying to have an impact on the kids we love.

Camp Minnesota!

Camp Minnesota
Registration is open for the 2021 camping season! Check out the sessions at the Camp Minnesota website and pick your favorite location: Northern Pines, Koronis Ministries, or Kowakan Adventures.

Registration and all information for the 2021 camping season will be digital and available on our website. With the potential for changes to schedules and events leading up to summer due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Dakotas and Minnesota Camp & Retreat Ministry team chose to forgo the traditional printed camp brochure this year. Instead, all camp listings and registration information are on the Camp Minnesota website where details will be updated quickly, and changes made in real-time. This ensures you will always have the most up-to-date information.

The early bird incentive, bring-a-friend discount, and camperships are all still available.
