  • Ecology Club is running a tree sapling event! For only $5, you can order a sapling that will be available for pick up on April 24. Working with Tree Plenish, an organization dedicated to planting more trees to offset paper usage, Ecology Club hopes to sell 150 saplings in order to offset the school's paper usage. There will be 3 different, local tree species to choose from! To order yours today, please click here. Thank you for supporting Ecology Club's initiatives! 

  • Don't forget that there is a prayer box in the Guidance Office sponsored by the Christian Student Association. Anyone can leave a prayer request for the club to pray for you. We meet in Room 7 on Fridays at 3:10. 

  • Do you have an idea for a business? Come to our next Entrepreneurship Club meeting on Monday, February 21 at 8:15 AM in Room 231 to learn more information about our upcoming Shark Tank event. You will develop and present your idea in front of a panel of judges of experienced entrepreneurs. The best presentations earn prizes! All are welcome to come.

  • Attention anyone and everyone who likes volleyball! The boys' volleyball program will be hosting another open gym this Thursday, February 17th in the Fieldhouse from 8:00pm-9:30pm. With the club season coming to a close, it is time to focus on the high school season so bring as many friends as you can and get some early touches before tryouts in the beginning of March. See everyone on Thursday!

  • Hey MSA! We're meeting Tuesday, Feb 22! Come to room 291, we start at 3:05. Get excited for a fun game and a valuable Gem of the Week! Can't wait to see you there!

  • Make your finishing touches on your artwork, copy edit one last time, and SUBMIT to Solstice, Hinsdale Central’s art and literary magazine. Go to our website, solsticeD86.weebly.com, and fill out the Google form under Submissions. See your work in print!

  • Women in Engineering will be meeting after school this Thursday 2/17 in Room 184. To join Remind, text  @a3kk2k3 to 81010 to stay inform. 

  • Do you like to help other students? Are you flexible, thoughtful, empathetic, a good communicator, approachable and enjoy meeting new people?  If so, you should fill out an application and interview to be an Ambassador for next year!  Applications are available on the Student Activities website or from a QR Code on the Counseling Office front window.  The online application is due on February 28th

  • Still thinking about trying out for Hinsdale Central’s Cultural Fair but need an idea? How about singing a song in another language? Or performing a traditional or modern dance that reflects your culture? We want YOU to be a part of the Fair! Come to tryouts next Tuesday, February 22nd after school in the student cafeteria. Your act does NOT have to be perfect at tryouts – just be committed to perform on April 29th. Questions? See Mrs. Cummings in room 150 or Mrs. DeLacey in room 149.
