PRE-RECORDED WORSHIP SERVICE
A pre-recorded service will be available on the HBIC YouTube Channel on Sunday morning by 9 am, as well as anytime thereafter. This service will include communion, so be sure to prepare some elements so that you can participate in this meaningful celebration with us. Click the button below to watch the service.
ZOOM REFLECTION
At 11 am, we'll meet on Zoom to reflect on the prerecorded service. We will pray together and consider some questions to help us process and discuss the week's message. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
SCRIPTURE READING

Church family, we miss seeing your faces! We would love for you to be included in our Sunday morning service. If you are willing to volunteer to record a scripture reading video for a service in the future, contact Pastor Hannah. We will send you the scripture and instructions when it is your turn to record!
FOOD PANTRY

The Food Pantry team is in need of volunteers who are able and willing to unload potentially heavy boxes and stock food pantry shelves every 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 11am to 1pm. For more information or to sign up, contact Pastor Carmen.

On Monday, Jan. 18, Christian Churches United is hosting a special event to celebrate MLK Day on Zoom including a worship service at 6:30pm followed by a panel discussion at 7:30pm. Registration is required to participate in the Zoom. Darrel Reinford, CCU Executive Director, writes, "We invite you to join with us...as we explore how we can use our words and actions to move towards a unity based on love and justice for all." Mennonite Central Committee is hosting a virtual MLK, Jr. celebration and service day focusing on mass incarceration and racial justice called "Restoring Hope and Dignity." The online program begins at 10am on Monday, Jan. 18 and requires a registration to receive the link to join. Visit mcc.org/service-day to register or for more information.

Peace With Justice is offering a a variety of resources for MLK Day and beyond! Visit peacewithjustice.org for more information. Here you'll find details about a day of service and a virtual prayer gathering you can participate in.

YOUTH MINISTRIES

Junior High
Youth in grades 6-8 are invited to join in the Zoom Youth Group gathering every Wednesday evening at 5:30 pm.

Senior High
Youth in grades 9-12 are invited to join in the Zoom Youth Group gathering every Monday evening at 6:30 pm.

These virtual gatherings are great opportunities to reconnect during the week for fun and spiritual food! Contact Pastor Brie with any questions about any of our Youth Ministries!
WEDNESDAY PRAYER MEETING

All are invited to join us for a Virtual Prayer Meeting on Wednesday evenings on Zoom at 7 pm.

FAMILY DIGITAL ESCAPE ROOM COMPETITION

ANNUAL COUNCIL MEETING

Plan to join in this important virtual gathering on Sunday, January 31 at 1:00pm on Zoom. This is an opportunity for the church body to reflect on 2020 and plan for 2021 through decisions and discussions including budget approval, leadership nominations, ministry team reports and more. This year's meeting will also feature highlights from the youth ministry and food pantry ministry.
YOUTH SNOW TUBING

All youth grades 6-12 are invited to join us for snow tubing on February 21st at 2pm. The cost is $15. Each youth will need their own transportation to Ski Roundtop and we will meet at 1:30pm to prepare for our 2-hour time slot that begins at 2pm. Tickets will go quickly! Email Pastor Brie to confirm your reservation or for more information. Please see the email from Pastor Brie with information regarding the waiver that needs completed in order to attend.
