Yearbook Distribution
Friday, June 16th
Exciting news! Those who've pre-ordered their yearbooks are in for a treat on Friday, June 16th! Get ready for a burst of joy as our awesome teachers will distribute your much-anticipated yearbooks right in your classrooms!
Now, if you happened to miss out on the pre-order opportunity, fear not! The PTA has got your back.
We will be setting up a table in front of the school, brimming with a treasure trove of limited-edition extra yearbooks, just waiting to be snatched up.
Yearbooks will be available for purchase from 3:05 PM to 3:35 PM on Friday, June 16. This is 15 minutes before the end of school and 15 minutes after. The price of each yearbook is $30. To make the process smoother, please bring the exact amount in cash or pay using a check. Checks should be made out to Norman Rockwell PTA.
Don't let this chance slip through your fingers â swing by the table and secure your very own piece of school history! Let the fun and memories unfold!
If you are unable to come by the school on the 16th to purchase a yearbook, please email yearbook@normanrockwellpta.org (after Friday) to make other arrangements. Yearbooks are first come, first serve.

Registration is now open for Community Serve Day 2023 and we are looking for VOLUNTEERS!
Community Serve Day is
ï»żSunday, August 27, 2023 from 9am-1pm
Before you head off for summer activities, please sign you and your family members up to help us get Rockwell teachers ready for the next school year and pass this invitation along to your friends and neighbors as well! Register as a volunteer today! www.communityserveday.org
What is Community Serve Day?
Community Serve Day is an event where local churches, schools, non-profits and businesses come together for our community. For one day, we all set aside our regular Sunday activities to help our schools prepare for the coming year by helping set up classrooms, making improvements to the campuses and more.
Who are we helping?
As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to help beautify Rockwell school grounds and assist our Rockwell teachers and staff get their classrooms ready for the school year. When you register, you can choose from a list of 30+ schools in LWSD and NSD to volunteer with.
What type of work will I be doing?
When you register, you can say whether youâd prefer INDOOR or OUTDOOR work. Indoor work varies by teacher, but usually includes cleaning, sorting, organizing, filing, cutting, pasting, putting up bulletin boards, building bookcases, moving things etc. All indoor work will be directly supervised by a teacher or Rockwell staff member. Outdoor work includes things like trimming bushes, spreading bark or sand, weeding, raking, or special projects like painting or pressure washing playground equipment.
Who can volunteer?
Anyone can volunteer! We welcome Rockwell parents, kids, grandparents, neighbors and friends or any individuals or groups within the community looking for ways to serve to sign up. While there are no age restrictions, children under the age of 12 will need to work alongside a parent or guardian during the event. Limited mobility or health concerns? No problem! When you register, you can specifically ask for tasks that will be suitable for your needs. There is something for everyone who would like to volunteer!
Not sure youâll be around?
Register anyway if you are interested! We understand that plans change during the summer. When you register, that will get you on our email list and you will receive updates as we get closer to the date. If you find that you are no longer available on that date, simply let us know and we will remove you from our list.
