The 2021 Holiday Season!

We are excited to help support our business community with many initiatives this year. See everything we are doing below. We encourage you to participate!
Deck the Halls Open House Weekend

To kick start the holiday season, the Listowel BIA and the North Perth Chamber of Commerce are promoting a Listowel Open House Weekend November 25 to 27. Let's invite the community and visitors to shop for all they need for the holiday season during Deck the Halls - Listowel Style! Our town will be decorated, Santa will make a visit in the Annual Drive Thru Parade and we want to promote our businesses! If you are having a sale or event during that weekend or from now until December 24, tell us about it and we will advertise for you! Contact us today to join in this fun weekend!
2021 Business Decorating Contest

The Listowel BIA invites and encourages you to help transform the town by decorating your business storefront and windows for the holiday season! As in past years, our community will have the chance to vote for their favourite and the top ten will be judged. The best decorated business will receive either $500 in shop local dollars OR $500 in advertising of their choice. They will also be featured on our website, social media and the Listowel Banner. Contact us today to be included this year!
NEW - Winter Bench Selfie Contest

This year residents will be invited to find our winter bench that is downtown, take a picture and send it to us for a chance to win a gift card for a Listowel business of their choice! The program will start November 25 and run for several weeks, possibly into 2022. More details are on our website HERE.
Decorating Our Town

The Listowel BIA will kick off the holiday season by decorating the town.  We hope you enjoy the transformation! A big thank you to our volunteers who give their time and energy to make our town so festive every year.
Chamber Candy Cane Drive Thru Parade

The Annual Santa Claus Parade will be held on Saturday, November 27 from 1 to 3 at the Listowel Memorial Park.  Due to Covid, it will once again be a drive thru version. Santa will be making a visit! For information visit the North Perth Chamber of Commerce website HERE!
2021 Resident Decorating Contest

To recognize residents that go above and beyond in decorating their home for the holiday season, the Listowel BIA is once again hosting a Resident Holiday Decorating Contest. The contest begins on November 12 with a deadline submission of December 13. Winners will be announced December 16. All winners will be awarded shop local dollars. For more details, visit HERE.
Home for the Holidays - Coupon Booklet 2021
The Listowel BIA is sponsoring the holiday booklet of savings. This booklet is filled with coupons from many businesses in Listowel offering sales to help with holiday shopping this year. Thanks to all of our businesses who participated in this program to promote shopping and dining in Listowel.
Promotions During the Holiday Season
The Listowel BIA will be promoting shopping during the holiday season in many ways this year. Look for our posts on social media and our website. We will also be using print and radio. If you have promotions during this time, please tag us or contact us so we can share.
