The Nineteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

As a society, we are experiencing an epidemic of stress. Keeping up with the demands of life has worn us out. Many of us are getting much less sleep than we need. This heightened stress takes a toll on our bodies making our blood pressure soar. We overeat and use alcohol to compensate for the pressure we feel. As we close in on ourselves, we become more isolated until we find ourselves trapped in a prison of fear... click here to continue reading this week's Gospel Reflection!

For the full description of each opportunity, please visit our website.

  • Ushers: Ushers are needed, especially at the 11:15 am Mass on Sundays.

  • BINGO: We have a very successful Bingo program here at St. Anthony Church; however, in order to run this week after week, we rely on the help of volunteers. We could use help in the areas of: calling the game, office, floor, sealed ticket sales, and kitchen.

  • We are looking for volunteers for the following miscellaneous projects:
  • Replace the ramp and build a step in the Church storage barn

  • Blood Pressure Screenings: The Health Ministry would like to begin offering blood pressure screenings after Mass again. If you are a healthcare professional, please consider giving 15 minutes of your time after Mass once a month.
