In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."

Dear fellow alumni,
It seems summer has arrived! The weather has finally given way to summer sunshine and warmer temperatures. What is it that marks the start of summer for you and your family? There are a couple things that really bring the summer vibe to campus: First of all, it was commencement. Just three weeks ago, students crossed the stage to take that next big step on their personal journey. Now, Falcon Days are in full swing as we welcome incoming students and their families to “connect with campus and with each other,” throughout the month of June and July. These incoming students are taking the first step on their new Concordia path.
These are exciting times as we celebrate the accomplishments of one generation and connect with a new generation as they stand at the precipice of this new beginning. And for all of us who are Concordians, the journey continues as we embrace graduates and welcome students who, along with us, live the Concordia mission centered on serving Christ in the Church and the world.
As you map out your summer plans, I invite you to reflect upon this 2023-24 theme and verse from Proverbs 3:5-6. There are many opportunities to connect with your alma mater and with each other this summer. Here are a few ways our paths might cross.... You might like to attend an alumni baseball event. You may want to encourage a CUW student as an alumni mentor this coming fall. Or maybe continuing education is next on the path for you or your family. Wherever your summer takes you, enjoy the updates. We hope to see you soon, and pray God richly blesses you and your family in this season!
God’s peace be yours,
