Good form precedes effective workout
.....Over the past 15 years Astria Goolsby has trained many clients who come with enthusiasm for working out and improving their health but have no idea how important it is to take the time and learn proper form and technique.
....."A lot of times I have to slow down their ideal progress and train them so that I can train them," says Goolsby, owner of Verve Health Station in Fondren Corner. "During their initial assessment, I take a close look at not only their capabilities, preferences, and fitness level but I assess their knowledge on how to perform exercises properly."

.....Goolsby has provided a short quiz to her people understand how to build an effective and safe fitness program.

Watch Signs
Become a partner with JPD in solving neighborhood crimes!
Virtual Neighborhood Watch signs are now available to deter people from entering your property to commit a crime. For a donation of $10, FRF will deliver a yard sign to your property. You can relocate the sign, once it is received.
.....Whether you have a sign or not, you can upload video and photos from your home security camera directly to JPD's Precinct 4 with this link:Send video to JPD.
.....The sign is just a deterrent to those who may be trespassing, informing them that their images may be sent to Precinct 4 and used as evidence.
