The initial implementation phase of this new system will involve and depend heavily on the timely partnership of our current teacher population. We request your patience as the HR Compensation Office finalizes the experience and degree validation for current teachers.
Please note, the HR Compensation Office will begin communicating individually with employees beginning this week to confirm the accuracy of the experience and degree levels HR has on file.
As a reminder, specific information will not be available to share with you regarding your salary on the new schedule until after we have completed the validation process and confirmed your accurate years of experience and education. However, these FAQs address any preliminary questions you may have about the administration of the new 2021-2022 teacher salary schedule.
Additionally, informational sessions will be held on TOMORROW, May 26, for teachers in the following zones. Principals will forward the Teams invite to their staff. Please review the FAQs prior to attending the session.
The sessions will only be open to active school-based staff. Employees must be logged in from their SCS Outlook account. The times are as follows:
- 3:00-3:30 p.m. - Zones 6, 12, 13, 16, 15
- 4:00-4:30 p.m. - Zones 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,10, 11, 12 (Middle Schools)
- 5:00-5:30 p.m. - Zones 7, 8, 9,14, 17
