Calling Activists of All Ages - This is a Multi-Gen Affair!
And Wear a Costume If You'd Like
|
|
For the past 6 weeks we have held signs in Bridgeport, Norwalk, Trumbull and Westport. We are meeting one final time where it all began in Westport.
This is an easy thing we can do to help in the effort to get people to vote, and to teach our children the importance of this civic duty, and of speaking out peacefully for what you believe in.
For our children to see adults participating alongside them makes it that much richer an experience for all. Please join us for as long as you are able - leaving early or arriving late is better than not being there at all -
When? – Saturday, October 31, 10:30 AM – NOON
Where? – Stop & Shop, 1790 Post Rd E, Westport, CT 06880.
*Bring cardboard to make a sign. We have paint sticks. Halloween costumes encouraged.

SHANONDA NELSON: LEADING LIGHT AWARD FOR NOVEMBER
|
|
Please join the Leadership Development Team in congratulating Shanonda Nelson, recipient of the November Leading Light Award. Shanonda’s contributions over the years are too numerous to name. Among the many significant gifts of her time and talent are her service as a Worship Associate, Pastoral Care Chaplain and member of the Intern Minister Committee. Importantly, Shanonda has been instrumental in bringing awareness about racial justice issues to our congregation and has helped us shape the way we think about racial justice as a community. For all of her involvement in and commitment to TUCW, Shanonda truly is a Leading Light.
