Help save a life: give blood during the UWindsor Alumni Cares Blood Drive, January 18-23

From January 18 through 23, the UWindsor Alumni Association will hold a blood drive at the Canadian Blood Services Windsor location (3909 Grand Marais Rd E) to help save lives and fill a vital need during the pandemic. You can book an appointment online, call 1 888 2DONATE (1-888-236-6283) or download the GiveBlood App. Alumni across Canada can donate at their local Blood Services location.

The Alumni Association is a Canadian Blood Services’ (CBS) Partner for Life. As Alumni, your donation can count towards our pledge of 50 blood donations in 2021. Friends of the Alumni Association and University of Windsor can also donate to our pledge. Continue reading.

Kick-off the new year with a good book
If one of your new year's resolution was to read more books, now is the perfect time to join the Alumni Book Club. The club connects through a private forum where readers can discuss the current book and network with each other. Participants read one book every two months so that you'll have plenty of time for each book.

The Alumni Book Club is currently reading Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones by James Clear.
