Celebrating the Season of Advent at VCHS
On December 8, the VCHS school community livestreamed Mass and celebrated together the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. Special thanks to celebrant, Fr. Andre Melancon '02, and campus and music ministries for hosting a beautiful Mass.

Junior and senior high campus ministers, along with Ms. Wendy Couvillon and Mrs. Julie Hebert, moderators, added some Christmas cheer to our quad.

Junior high girls soccer team and Coach Doug Hamilton, set up the nativity scene on the front lawn of school.

Teenager of the Year Nominees
Congratulations to seniors, Annelle Fletcher, Lia Martin, Tia Miller, and Brooke Sanford for representing Vandebilt Catholic in the 2020-2021 Terrebonne Parish Teenager of the Year Program. The winner will be announced early 2021 through the local chapter of the American Legion.
Vandebilt Catholic Student of the Year
Congratulations to Lia Martin '21 and Olivia Hatch '25 for being selected as Vandebilt Catholic's Student of the Year. Both students will move on to represent Vandebilt Catholic at the Diocesan level for selection of Diocesan Student of the Year.
Also, congratulations to the following students who were nominated for Student of the Year for the Class of 2021: Landon Cabirac, Annelle Fletcher, Hayden Hohensee, Abigail Matherne, Tia Miller; and nominees from the Class of 2025: Neal Grace Berry, William Cipolla, and Shayleigh Sanders.
TERRIER FOOTBALL FINSHES STRONG!
The varsity football team finished the season with a record of 7-2 overall (3-0 in district) with a trip to the state quarterfinals. Twenty-one players received All-District honors including Coach Lance Ledet - Coach of the Year, Bryden Roundtree - Offensive MVP, and Andrew Villavaso - Defensive MVP. Congratulations to Coach Ledet, his entire coaching staff and the terrier football team on a great season!

SWIM STATE MEET
Congratulations to senior, Emma Danos for her Swim State Championship win in the 50 free. Top 10 finishers for the girls were Marcelle Bourgeois, Emma Danos, Caroline Lindsay, Claire Ramirez, and Madison Richoux. Top 10 finishers for the boys were Hamilton Barnes, Julian Bourgeois, Logan Carmouche, Kaden Howard, and Stephen Ragas. Congratulations to Coach

Correction from VC Network Vol. 5 Issue 4: Logan Hamilton finished in the top 10 at the girls cross country state meet held on November 17 at Northwestern State University and earned
all-state honors.
The admission process has begun for the 2021-2022 school year for incoming new students. The placement test for incoming 8th and 9th grade students will be held here at VCHS on Saturday, January 9, 2021.
