Dear Parents,
Thank you for all of the wonderful donations for the children of the Waukesha parade tragedy. There is a good amount of candy, coloring books, and treats so we will be able to share the joy with kids at Children’s Hospital. Thank you for all of the donations and to Mr. Ninnemann for delivering all the goodies.
This Sunday, December 12 at 2:00pm, Fr. Tom and friends will be providing a holiday concert in Church. Fr. Tom will be playing the organ followed by St. Matthew’s and Shepherd of the Hills choirs. Join us for some Christmas spirit!
All students (K3 MWF, K3, K4 and K5 through Grade 8) are in the Christmas concert on Wednesday, December 22 at 1:30pm AND 6:30pm in Church. Please bring your child to his/her classroom by 6:00pm for the night performance and pick up your child in the classroom afterwards. The night concert is being professionally recorded and DVD’s will be available for purchase. If your child is in daycare until the concert, please make sure to pack a snack/supper so we can get them fed before the concert.
If you are in need of stocking stuffers, or family exchange gifts, please pick up some Calendar of Cash tickets. These make great gifts! We are in the final weeks of selling and need a boost in sales. Let us know if you need a few extras for the holidays. All tickets must be turned in by Monday, January 3, 2022 at 8:00am.
The St. Matt’s Kiddo Cookbooks are available for purchase in the school office. These too make great gifts for family members. We will not put them out at the concerts because many bought them for Christmas gifts for grandparents and we don’t want to spoil any surprises. ;) Stop in the school office if you would like to purchase any; they are $15 each.
We’ve had a very mild season so far but as you know, that can change quickly in Wisconsin. If school is delayed or cancelled due to inclement weather, you will receive notification via OneCall. We follow Campbellsport School Districts (CSD) school closings and cancellations due to shared busing to watch the news announcements for CSD also.
SAVE THE DATE! We are gearing up for our annual fundraiser, Cabin Fever. Our theme is "On Wisconsin" and we will be serving up the Knights of Columbus's famous Fish Fry on Friday, March 18, 2022. Mark your calendars for this amazing event. And if you want to be a part of the planning, please contact Naomi in the school office. We are always looking for extra help with our fundraisers; no experience necessary!
Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the last few days before Christmas!
