During this month, Brian will be out of the studio a few days. The first is June 10^th where he will be attending a mediumship class with Marilyn Jenquin in Orange Park. There is availability starting at 2:30 that day as he expects to be back by then.

The studio will also be closed June 15^th through 17^th as Brian will be in Vero Beach for master mediumship/trance classes with Eamonn Downey. Hopefully, he will be bringing back more techniques to help him help others.

A two day seminar to introduce massage therapists to new techniques and improve their body mechanics is scheduled for July 28^th and 29^th. This seminar is to help the working massage therapist (or those that use massage regularly) to learn to get more strength with less effort so they can do deep work without hurting themselves. Advanced techniques are taught to give the therapist a better range of techniques.

There are 12 continuing education hours (CEUs) available for the licensed therapist. This class requires a minimum of 4 people to happen. If you can benefit from these techniques (and everybody can) sign up now at the Caring Palms website. The last day to sign up will be July 21^st. if we do not have at least 4 people by then, the class will be cancelled.

I’ve heard it said that a day above ground is better than one below, meaning its better to be alive than not. But what is life? Is it simply the existence that we see day to day, or is It something more?

There are those that believe that this is it, and afterward, we go into non-existence. There are many that believe in the classic concept of Heaven and Hell, which was actually created by religions to frighten people into “being good” so they wouldn’t rot in Hell for eternity. Spiritualists believe that the afterlife is truly the life and that we separate from that to come learn things on this “mortal” plane. Of course, until we actually get there, we don’t know for sure.

I remember a meeting of sci-fi enthusiasts talking about what their next convention should include. One person commented that have more fact based presentations on subjects like black holes and such, not some silly stuff like psychic abilities. The same holds true. We can theorize what a black hole is, but until we go out and touch one, we really don’t know. But ESP and mediumship as well as energy healing are becoming more accepted even though the scientific community can’t prove it.

It is through these methods that we get a glimpse of “the other side”. We reach out and touch energies that were people we know. We bring forth information about them that we could not know (what they looked like, where they lived, their mannerisms, etc.). We can also learn more about what they are doing now.

I know that the information I bring forth in readings are things I could not know. I could not be making it up. So, it has to come from somewhere. We mediums feel that we are meeting those passed ones half way, so we can communicate. And no matter what terminology mediums use, no matter how mystical they make it sound, they are raising their vibrations to be able to connect with a being that now exists at a higher vibrational level.

This little bit of “magic” makes me believe that there is another side, and it is not the conventional belief of a good place and a bad place. If one does evil in their life, they go to the same place which is love. It may take a period of readjustment to shed the vibrations of what they did in their life, but it is all one place. Spirit is perfect. Spirit is love. It is when we inhabit human bodies that we choose other options.

Now, is it better to be above ground or below. Being alive on this plane, you make changes on this plane. If you work to make people and their lives better, you see an immediate effect, or the effect start to grow into something greater. From the spirit side, we still help make positive change, but we do it by helping those on the mortal plane do the heavy lifting. We point them in the right directions, influence them when we can, give them ideas.

Of course, until I go out and touch it, this is just theory. But with the evidence we have, I tend to believe that this is correct. Now, how would it affect you if you felt that you would go to a place of love? After it is the soul that travels as energy can not be created or destroyed, just changed into something else.

Maximize your results with less effort. Utilize the science of martial arts and apply it to massage. Advanced Body Mechanics and Techniques for Massage Therapists, is designed to reconnect the massage therapist with proper body mechanics and techniques while putting a new twist on things and showing how to get more pressure with little effort. While it does go over some basics, it takes body mechanics to a new level where every move involves the use of the therapist's entire body so they can work without hurting themselves. The class being part lecture, part hands-on practice takes positions, centering, and the proper use of body strength from Japanese martial arts and applies them to the art of massage therapy. It also shows how to focus one's energies to increase their strength with simple exercises meant to teach the student how to 'think' beyond where they are working so they can get deeper into the client and to channel their energies to the point of thought. The student will learn how to focus their energies and use their body to do deep work and not get hurt. This class will help anyone to work deeply with less effort no matter if one is 90 pounds or 250 pounds. This class is for both the seasoned therapist and the new therapist. It will show moves everyone does, but in a new light as well as moves many people may not have seen before. The idea is not to dictate how to practice, but to show better body mechanics which the therapist can adapt to what they do. This is true whether they adapt all of it or just part of it.
