Election of Board Officers
The Board of Education elected Tracy Rookard as chair for 2021 and Michelle Simmons as vice chair. Devetrion Caldwell was elected as legislative liaison, and D.T. Jackson was elected deputy legislative liaison.
Work Session Agenda
Representatives from the Georgia School Boards Association led the Board of Education through a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) analysis. Information gathered will be used in developing the strategic plan for 2021-2026. A final draft of the plan will be presented for Board approval at the May 2021 BOE meeting.
Finance
Greg Denney presented the financial report for November 2020 for approval at the January 19 meeting.
Technology
Todd Hindmon presented for approval at the January 19 meeting:
