PROJECT UPDATES

Truman Blvd. Extension Project

Norton Rd. is closed for the remainder of the Truman Blvd. Extension Project. Click the link below for details of this closure.

The City of Nixa is using state, federal, and city funding on the construction project to extend Truman Blvd south to the current intersection of Norton Rd. & Pembrook Ave.

Construction is scheduled to be completed in June 2023.

Project Updates

Route 14 Widening Project

Beginning June 6th, Missouri St. & Market St. will be closed north of Hwy 14. This closure is scheduled to last from 7 a.m. June 6th for approximately five days. The purpose of this closure is to replace the approaches to Hwy 14.

This widening project is now anticipated to be complete by Summer 2024.

MoDOT is widening Rt. 14 (Mount Vernon St.). to five lanes - two lanes in each direction with a center turn lane - between Fort Street and Tiffany Boulevard. Multiple factors, including weather, make project schedules subject to change.
