Research Policies at MMG Sites
On behalf of Michael Rinke MD, PhD, Senior Director and Chief of Quality and Informatics, "Montefiore Medical Group values research as an integral part of our mission. In order to clarify the process for conducting research at MMG sites, and to ensure all relevant parties are aware of and approve of the operational impact caused by that research, we created process documents for the steps needed to conduct research at MMG sites". Please contact Paul Meissner or Michael Rinke to receive a copy of those documents.

Looking to Collaborate Virtually?
The Einstein-Montefiore Research Profiles is just a click away, from any computer. Continuously updated with your publications and NIH grants, Profiles has expanded to 1,880 qualified faculty members, and is a great way to find colleagues from across the hall to across the Bronx. Profiles also displays each faculty member’s research network, whether local, national, or international, further helping you hone in on the expertise you may need. To view research profiles, visit https://einstein.pure.elsevier.com or click on the profiles button on the lower right hand side of qualified faculty pages.
If your own profile is not up to date, please be patient as the data are periodically refreshed.
Below is a representation of global Einstein-Montefiore collaborations over the last five years.

New Atlas Training Guides
The Montefiore-Einstein Center for Health Data Innovation's (CHDI) ATLAS is a user-friendly, web-based application that interactively supports a wide variety of analyses which requires patient level clinical data (self-service analytics) . ATLAS enables users to define patient cohorts (for example, Covid-19 patients with history of ACE inhibitor use, with cardiovascular comorbidities), compare baseline characteristics and differences between cohorts and/or subgroups within cohorts, measure incidence rates, define effect sizes and estimates, study clinical pathways within cohorts, or develop patient level predictions without ever having to write any R, SPSS, or SAS codes.
While this is a self-service tool, the CHDI recently published training guides for Montefiore-Einstein users to follow and better understand the application's capabilities. To view and download these training guides, click here.
