New Jersey Day Trip
Do you have a favorite New Jersey Day Trip that you would like to share with the congregation? Last year we visited Grounds for Sculpture, two years before that we took the Five Generals Tour, and in 2018 we did a walking and eating tour of Somerville. Please share your ideas with me (Alison) and I will try to put something together for August.

OUTREACH
On August 7th, following Church Services, Outreach will hold a brief committee meeting. We would like to review upcoming Outreach programs, introduce new Church members to what Outreach does, and welcome suggestions for new Outreach programs. All are welcome to attend.
Outreach will continue to collect food items for the Somerset County Food Bank through Sunday, July 31st. In addition, we will continue to collect egg cartons for them throughout the year. So far this month we have delivered 48 pounds of food.
August is St. Martin’s month to man the food pantry on Saturday mornings at the Reformed Church on Main Street in Somerville. A signup sheet is posted on the bulletin board in the narthex or you can contact Marlene to sign up for a morning. Volunteers are requested to be at the Church at 8:30 and usually, the pantry is closed and you are on your way home by 10:30.
During August, we will also be collecting new underwear and socks for children. The donations will be given to FISH. FISH will also accept gently used or new children’s clothing. All items may be left in the narthex during the month of August.
Your generosity is always appreciated.

GRACE for ALL
Coming in Fall 2022 (beginning on Tuesday, September 20)
Grace for All is a prayer and support small group for LGBTQ+ Christians. People from any Christian tradition and people from no religious tradition at all are welcome to join us for a time of mutual sharing and support. This is a safe space for people struggling to reconcile their faith with their sexual orientation and/or gender identity/expression. It is a space to be nurtured and affirmed by the Church and to celebrate God's loving grace for us all. We will meet on Tuesdays from 7-8 pm in the Lady Chapel. Please share this information with LGBTQ+ people in your life who may benefit from this kind of supportive small group.
If you would like more information, or if you would like to register to join, please email the parish priest- Fr. Rob at rectorstmartinsnj@gmail.com.
