We are so pleased to bring you these inspiring stories from BABC OC friend and member, Edwards Lifescienes;

The Uspire team had the privilege of presenting the money to three separate Hospital Trusts, chosen by the Edwards' team,  Walsall in the West Midlands, Barts in Central London and St.George’s in Tooting. And all three has immediate plans to put the money to great use. The donation to Walsall is particularly poignant as it was clinicians from this hospital that twice saved the life of Salem Khan, friend of Uspire and the Edwards Lifesciences sales person for that hospital.

Thankfully now recovered and able to personally present a cheque for £10,000, Salim was one-minute away from complete respiratory failure as he entered the ICU at Walsall Manor Hospital. It was the dedicated and relentless care Salim received in the ICU that eventually brought Salim out of danger and back to health.

Salim was able to meet the team that cared for him and was delighted to present them with money raised by views of the Uspire Boostcasts. The money is to be used in the rehabilitative and recovery care programmes and the hospital already have some exciting ideas about how it can be put to great use.
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the postponement of the December 4th 2020 Traditional Christmas Luncheon. Your health and safety is our priority. We are incredibly sad to share this news, but in an abundance of caution believe it's the responsible action to take, during these difficult times.
We'll keep you updated as to when we can host the next BABC live event and cannot wait to get together once again.

Look out an invitation to our "Christmas Special" Vitual Pub Quiz and Happy Hour! Coming Soon!
