The deadline for attesting for the 
2020 Attestation 
Medicaid PI Program is 
February 28, 2021
The end of the 2020 Attestation Year for the Medicaid Promoting Interoperability Program (PI) is rapidly approaching. The deadline is earlier than in subsequent attestation years.  For further details, please check the Promoting Interoperability Program Attestation Extension Provider Notice.

Eligible Providers (EPs) are required to provide supporting documentation at the time of attestation for Public Health Registries for which EPs are attesting.  The MURS website is no longer operational.  To assist you with contacting the various Public Health Registries and to obtain the current year level of engagement, links for contact information are listed below.

Updated 2021 CMS QRDA III Implementation Guide for Eligible Professionals and Eligible Clinicians following the publication of the CY 2021 Physician Fee Schedule Final Rule
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has released an update to the 2021 CMS Quality Reporting Document Architecture (QRDA) Category III Implementation Guide (IG) for Eligible Clinicians and Eligible Professionals to support Calendar Year (CY) 2021 reporting. 

The update includes the list of electronic clinical quality measures (eCQMs) finalized by CMS for the CY 2021 Performance Period based on the CY 2021 Physician Fee Schedule Final Rule released on December 1, 2020. It also includes information for Improvement Activity Identifiers, Promoting Interoperability Objectives and Measures, and Promoting Interoperability Attestation Statement Identifiers finalized by CMS for the CY 2021 Performance Period based on the CY 2021 Physician Fee Schedule Final Rule.  FURTHER DETAILS ON THE UPDATED 2021 CMS QRDA
