President Trump commits
to NC GOP convention

Dinner keynote June 5

President Donald Trump, who won North Carolina last November, will speak to attendees of the 2021 NC Republican convention next month in Greenville.

His live appearance was announced May 17. Trump will make remarks during the convention's final dinner on Saturday, June 5. The dinner is sold out to the general public, according to the North Carolina GOP web site, which offers an all-event package that specifically excludes Saturday night's dinner.

49.4% of North Carolina
Dems disapprove of Biden

Surveyed in a recent poll, 21% of North Carolina Democrats rate the state as headed "in the wrong direction" after extended lockdowns and school closures amid the Wuhan virus.

Despite the media's portrayals of a public grateful for widespread "safety" measures, only 70% of Democrat voters believe North Carolina is headed in the right direction while Joe Biden is leading the country as president and fellow Democrat Roy Cooper is leading the state as governor.

The new Civitas poll was conducted by the John Locke Foundation.
The survey was conducted by Cygnal, May 6–8, 2021, with 600 likely 2022 general election voters. It has a margin of error of ±4.0%.

Overall, Biden is slightly upside down in his approval ratings. Just more than 47% of poll respondents approved of his job performance, while 49.4% disapprove.

Another sector of the polling data found black voter registration has declined since 2012 by 80,000. (Source: Carolina Journal)

The Democratic Party is not any longer concerned with sustaining democracy. It has been subverted, taken over, by the Left. The party of slavery in the 19th century is the party of Socialism in the 21st century. Today's Democrat Party, notes radio talk host Chris Plante, is closer to Lee Harvey Oswald than John F. Kennedy on the ideological spectrum.
Bill opposing Race Theory
advances to NC Senate

North Carolina House Education Chairmen John Torbett (R-Gaston) and Hugh Blackwell (R-Burke), unveiled on May 11 legislation preventing discriminatory concepts, especially Critical Race Theory, from being taught as fact or endorsed in North Carolina school districts. Local NC-52 Rep. Jamie Boles is a bill sponsor.

House Bill 324 would prevent students or teachers from being taught that one race or sex is inherently superior to another race or sex, or other related concepts that reduce individuals to their gender or skin color.

The bill moved into the NC Senate committee on Rules and Operations on May 12 for a second reading. From there, the bill would move to the full Senate for a vote.

Pilot 'investigated'
for opposing CRT

American Airlines says it’s investigating a Texas-based pilot who spoke against an effort by his local school district to implement elements of Critical Race Theory.

Guy Midkiff of Southlake, Texas, has been flying for American Airlines for more than 30 years, according to the Dallas Morning News. His job security remains uncertain, however, after he criticized a “Cultural Competence Action Plan” (CCAP) proposed by Carroll Independent School District online and in podcasts. Read more.

Mark Walker, a candidate for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated in 2022 by fellow Republican Richard Burr, is traveling statewide to introduce himself to potential voters. Here, Walker engaged guests May 16 in a Southern Pines residence. He said Republicans should expect our candidate to face Democrat Cheri Beasley, former NC Supreme Court chief justice, in the November 2020 Senate race. Two other Republicans are expected to contend for the nomination with Walker, Rep. Ted Budd and former NC Gov. Pat McCrory. Below: States such as North Carolina are dropping mask requirements after months of tyranny. But the Biden Administration's federal mask mandate remains intact with no end in sight.

"We binge-watch, (the Chinese) binge-build. When COVID hit Wuhan, the city built a quarantine center with 4,000 rooms in 10 days and they barely had to use it because they quickly arrested the rest of the disease.

"They were back to throwing raves in swimming pools while we were stuck at home surfing the dark web for black market Charmin. We're not losing to China, we lost. The returns just haven't all come in yet.

"They've made robots that check a kid's temperature and got their asses back in school. Most of our kids are still pretending to take Zoom classes while they watch TikTok and their brain cells fully commit ritual suicide."

Moderna Chief Med Officer
has resigned amid virus

Tal Zaks, the chief medical officer of pharmaceutical maker Moderna, is scheduled to depart this September.

The company provided no explanation for Zaks' resignation, which was announced in February. He has in recent years expressed unfiltered views on vaccines, particularly on how the breakthrough mRNA vaccine is the most invasive type ever known to science.

In a 2017 online TedTalk, he left little to the imagination. “We are actually hacking the software of life,” and, “We think about it as an operating system. So if you could actually change that … if you could introduce a line of code, or change a line of code, it turns out it has profound implications for everything."

Zaks was emphatic: “What is a vaccine? It is an injection in our arm where we get bits and pieces of the virus, the proteins, and that teaches our immune system to recognise the virus – so when we get infected we’re not sick.

“Now, imagine that instead of giving the protein, we would give the instructions on how to make the protein, how the body can make its own vaccine. That’s an mRNA vaccine.”
