What a great celebration of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ we enjoyed on Sunday! We began with moving Sonrise service at 6:30 and 125 in attendance! Thank you to Rhys and Drew Breland for leading in music worship. Then, at 11:00 we came together for an incredible celebration service! Thank you to the Handbell choir, the Celebration Choir, and to Brad and Anita for leading us in music worship. It was so good to have Bro. Brad back with us. Practically every chair was filled, and I have heard from so many who experienced an inspiring time of worship.
It took a great effort for us to be able to worship in our new (and still under construction) gym on Sunday. Thank you to Rhys for organizing the setup, and all those who came on Friday to help. We could not have been ready for Sunday without you! Then, many of those came back on Monday morning to assist with the removal and cleanup. Also, thank you to Josh Miltier and Kyle Drennan for all of the effort in assembling and setting up all of the audio/video equipment, and for Josh operating all of this new equipment on Sunday.
I also want to thank Lori Replogle, Mendy Miltier, and all who helped them with the awesome Easter Egg Hunt and party event on Saturday. Although the weather was less than ideal, we had a great attendance everyone had a wonderful time.
I want to ask that you be in prayer for our Bible Drillers. Their church drill with be this Wednesday evening, the Associational drill on Sunday afternoon, and the State drill will be the following Saturday.
On a final note, Janice and I will be in Florida next week, if the Lord wills, for a few days of vacation. Rhys will be preaching on the 23rd, and Mickey Clogher will lead the Wednesday night Bible study on the 19th.
You Are Loved!
Dan
