Status Reports and Updates
Pacific County and the Long Beach Peninsula are currently in Phase I of Governor Inslee's
"Safe Restart" 4-phased plan, with the exception of our lodging businesses. W
e anticipate this to continue until June 1, 2020. This is simply our best estimate at this time but we will be sure to let you know if and when things change.
All of our tourism industry sectors have been learning, adapting and implementing new safety standards and operational procedures. Here are some current status reports from our industry partners.
Lodging
Unlike other areas of the state, lodging in Pacific County is only available for essential travel at this time. Tentatively, after June 1, lodging properties will be available for non-essential guests at reduced and limited occupancy. Be sure to make reservations well in advance and keep in mind that things may change. Be sure to ask about cancellation and refund policies in the event things change.

Food and Restaurants
Many of our fabulous food places our offering curbside pick up and/or delivery. Our food and beverage businesses have done an outstanding job of finding creative solutions to safely keep us all well fed. Our local chefs can help you with some quick take-out or a feast for the whole family. You can find an up to date listing of "to go" restaurants
click here . Don't forget that many can deliver beverages and cocktails as well. Our brewery has a roll-up window and our distillery has online ordering available.
Retail and Activities
Essential retailers continue to be open with social distancing and enhanced safety protocols in place. We anticipate other retailers and activities will be reopening soon.
Outdoor Recreation
Socially distanced fishing, hiking, biking, birding and beach going are all available at this time.
Events
Many events have been cancelled, rescheduled, or are being revamped and restructured - things are changing daily! Once we have a little more stability we will be sharing all the updates.
4th of July fireworks shows have been cancelled by the City of Ilwaco & City of Long Beach.
The World's Longest Garage Sale is being rescheduled for Sept. 19-20, 2020.
