'20,000th Toe' Award
One of Peggy Webb's toes has become a celebrated element in the 10-year annals of Riverbend's Sole-Savers foot care ministry.

Her name and that toe have been indelibly etched in those archives, which also include the name of Carole Edwards. Carole was the recipient several years ago of the 10,000th Toe Award.

An Interview
With Pastor Scott

Riverbend Teaching Pastor Scott Menez was interviewed for about 20 minutes recently by Keith Foskey, a Reformed "Calvinistic" pastor from Sovereign Grace Family Church in Jacksonville. That interview became part of Foskey's podcast, "Coffee with a Calvinist."

Listen as Scott explains his ministry story. Also, Pastor Keith fondly explains his connection with Riverbend through the ministry of former Pastor Roy Hargrave and the former Riverbend-based music group Kanon.

Scott and Keith met while attending the conference at Crosswalk Church in Daytona Beach.

Volunteers Needed

From Bonnie Harris
Of the WARM Ministry

WARM (Women Assisting Recovering Mothers), an outreach ministry of Riverbend, is a recovery/rehab program for our local community of women fighting the battle of addiction.

Our greatest need in restarting our visitation ministry on Monday, Nov. 2, is for Riverbend ladies to partner with us on Monday evenings at 6:15 at the Vince Carter Sanctuary in Bunnell. You can invest in kingdom work by showing compassion, kindness and encouragement—lending a listening ear or praying with/for the ladies.

We need you! If you have a gift to teach or a musical talent of guitar or keyboard, we can use you. We need volunteers (middle school-to-adult) to watch children and rock babies while their mothers are being taught from the Word of God.

This ministry is very flexible, as you can participate weekly or bi-monthly, as your schedule permits. Car-pooling makes this ministry so convenient.

Please pray about serving and how you can minister with us. To volunteer, contact: Kay Moody at (386) 383-3828 (click here) or Bonnie Harris at: (386) 589-3512 (click here). To assist with childcare, contact Jan Johnston at 386-295-6045 or click here.
