WHAT IS CROYA?
CROYA (Committee Representing Our Young Adults) is a safe, fun, and supportive youth organization traditionally open to all 7th-12th graders in Lake Forest, Lake Bluff & Knollwood. CROYA offers more than 300 youth programs and meetings to 2,000-plus teens annually. CROYA is unique in that it is run by young adults, for young adults, with trusted staff always present. During this challenging time, CROYA is opening up afterschool programming to 5th and 6th grade students, as well.

WHAT ARE CROYA’S PROGRAMS?
Weekly youth meetings for High School students on Wednesdays at 7:00pm; after school programs for Middle School students; leadership programs; community service projects, retreats, work trips, work stays, social programs, and support services.

DO YOUTH HAVE TO JOIN OR PAY DUES TO BE A PART OF CROYA?
No, but a parent must sign a waiver prior to their child attending CROYA programs or meetings. Waivers are required for all middle school and high school students for them to be able to visit CROYA. The waiver and information on signing up is located at croya.com. All 5th-12th graders living in Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, and Knollwood can attend CROYA meetings and most programs are free. There are additional fees for special programs and field trips.

HOW DO I SIGN MY STUDENT UP TO ATTEND CROYA?
The CROYA Student Union will look a little different for the 2020-2021 school year. Any students that wish to attend an after school or weekend program at CROYA must be registered by their parent prior to the program. Middle School parents will be able to sign their child up for CROYA afterschool programs on specific days. To sign your child up for a CROYA program please visit www.croya.com. We have included a step by step guide on how to register your child for our programs on our website.

WHAT IS CROYA DOING TO KEEP STUDENTS SAFE?
