From Our Family to Yours, Happy Holidays!
As we close out the year, we want to thank you for trusting us and allowing us to provide the tools, services, products, and training that you and your staff need to save your company money and increase production.
In this edition, we'll share details on a special annual event that Glasslined sponsors and that I personally volunteer at, including my popular and delicious Red Beans & Rice recipe. We will also discuss glass lined dip pipes for chemical reactors, and highlight our new maintenance program.
Thinking of buying a reactor in 2022? We'd love to provide you with a quote and discuss ways we can best serve your teams in the new year.
We'd appreciate the opportunity to serve you as the leading expert in the Glass lined Industries. If we can ever assist you, please let us know!
Warmest Wishes this Holiday Season,
James Lakeman & The Glasslined Technologies Team

There’s one important piece of Glasslined Technologies’ overall philanthropy efforts that strengthens their ties of patriotism to the USA. As the president of the only 100% American-Owned Glasslined Company, James Lakeman, proudly supports and is involved in the Safari Club International (SCI) organization. SCI is the country’s leader in advocacy to protect the freedom to hunt and to promote wildlife conservation worldwide. SCI’s approximately 50,000 members and 200 Chapters represent all 50 of the United States as well as 106 other countries. Through the Georgia Chapter, as a corporate sponsor, James rolls up his sleeves and not only participates, but shares his culinary treasures with other SCI guests and members.

During the Annual Wounded Veterans 3-day Event in Destin, Florida in September of 2021, sixteen Purple Heart Recipients attended along with seven Georgia SCI Members, including James Lakeman. Lodging, multiple meals cooked on the beach, 2 Offshore Boats with Professional Guides, and Award Ceremonies for fishing took place during the 3-day event. During discussions with the group, veterans shared what the event meant to them personally and how it helps them in daily life to adapt to civilian life again. Included in the attendees this year was a Retired BG Air Force Fighter Pilot who was shot down in North Vietnam and spent over five years in the Hanoi Hilton as a POW. His discussion with the other Wounded Veterans discussing his ideas of honor and Patriotism helped them put things in proper perspective for a positive life attitude moving forward. James’ favorite part of the event is the culinary piece where he is able to cook for the wounded veterans and welcomes them to cook alongside him. Through conversation of healing, James is able to share recipes, stories and build relationships with veterans. His favorite thing to make is his famous Red Beans & Rice which he most often serves with grilled quail. Events held by SCI’s Georgia Chapter and their events for Wounded Veterans, including the Destin Event noted herein, have won the SCI’s Georgia Chapter multiple National Humanitarian Awards over the years.

James has been working in the petrochemical, nuclear, chemical, plastics, biofuels, and pharma industries since 1980. During the 40 years in this industry, James built his business solving difficult solutions in failure analysis and repair of glasslined equipment. This philosophy has grown a small home based consulting business to a company with 11 employees in a 50,000 square foot facility containing warehousing, production, offices, and research capabilities with 15 acres of outside storage. You will often meet James on-site at facilities or inside vessels making repairs.
