2021 round one housing tax credit awardsCHFA has completed its first allocation round of 2021. Twenty-five applications were received seeking a total of $31.9 million in federal 9 percent credit. CHFA is awarding $16.8 million in federal 9 percent credit to 13 developments along with $2.9 million in federal 4 percent credit to a paired development, which will support the construction of 882 affordable rental housing units and 87 market rate rental housing units for a total of 969 residential units. Consistent with program requirements, tax credit proceeds will not be used to support the development of market rate units.Full descriptions may be viewed here and the award report may be viewed here.
