UPDATE: FFCRA Tax Credits for Paid Leave Extended to March 31st, 2021
 
The FFCRA Act is set to expire on 12/31/2020. 

However, a new relief bill has been signed into law, and this bill extends the ability for employers to receive FFCRA Tax Credits on FFCRA SICK and FFCRA FMLA paid through March 31, 2021.
 
Please NOTE: After December 31, 2020, it will be OPTIONAL for employers to continue to offer FFCRA SICK or FFCRA FMLA to their employees.

The employees FFCRA Sick & FFCRA FMLA Bank unused balances will carry over, but do not reset for 2021.
 
If employers choose to continue to offer these paid leaves, these paid leaves will still receive FFCRA Tax Credits through March 31, 2021.

If employers choose to continue to pay employees that have no available FFCRA Sick & FFCRA FMLA available balances, the COVID Sick No Credit Code will be used.
