"Zum Gali Gali." A Hebrew song I learned after liberation while living in a Jewish Youth Aliyah home, preparing to go on to Palestine. The song relates to the young Jewish pioneers who were building the new Israel by draining swamps and planting eucalyptus trees to eradicate malaria, paving roads, and learning to grow crops.
Zoom, golly, golly is the new incredible program that allows visual communication between people wherever in the world they live. And Zoom is the mode of communicating that I have to work with as travel, and meeting groups, due to Covid 19, are both so very much curtailed at this time.
Although I have accomplished several Zoom presentations which have gone well, I really do miss a "live" audience, with the many associated hugs. I also miss the flying that was involved - so exciting to walk through Terminal 4 at JFK, and see myriad destinations being loaded.
But for now,, I will be doing Zoom presentation, golly, golly!
Stay healthy & well.
Hugs, Marion
