Dear Friend,

Love is in the air. Nope, scratch that. Love is in the Wi-Fi and more than ever (especially during COVID-19), young people are making connections via dating apps and more.

Join us for our next Cyberwise Chat at noon PST on Feb. 8. We'll discuss:

  • Popular "dating" apps and sites
  • Sexting, "hooking-up"
  • How to talk to teens about their online relationships

We are very excited to welcome special guest Taylor Blatchford who shared her personal story regarding sexting with us last month (you can read it here). Taylor is a graduate student at the University of Alabama and a titleholder with the Miss America Organization. She has been an advocate for internet safety for many years and presents her campaign, "Text 2 Regret," in classrooms in and around Alabama. We are honored that she teaches our Cyber Civics curriculum and regularly talks to young people about how they connect online.
