From The Pastor..
Christmas music is strangely divisive. It would seem something as wholesome as Christmas music is something that would fill everyone with good cheer, but that is not always the case.  It seems most people have a lot of strong feelings about Christmas music.  For instance, there are some people who firmly believe that Christmas music should start on November 1st, while other people hold a very strong conviction that they do not want to hear “Jingle Bells” until after Thanksgiving. For a lot of retail workers, who often endure two straight months, these songs can cause unpleasant flashbacks to times they had to deal with less than pleasant customers.

CADA/Phoenix House
It's that time of year again when we decorate the sanctuary with beautiful flowers! Even though we will not be having in-person worship, we will still decorate the sanctuary for our virtual service. We will be accepting donations in any monetary amount to be applied toward the purchase of poinsettias. With an arrangement with the florist, we will be purchasing the poinsettias for the sanctuary. You may mail your donation (210 W. Central Ave.) along with whether you wish to have it in memory or honor of a loved one. If you prefer, you may bring it in the church office during office hours. In order to have your names in the January newsletter, please have donations in by December 15th. Thank you!
