Improving the Vaccination Experience: Accessible Vaccination for Neurodiverse People at any Age

Live Webinar

Thursday, April 11, 2023

12:00 – 1:00 pm

People with autism and other developmental disabilities have lower childhood immunization rates than their peers without autism, leaving them vulnerable to many vaccine-preventable diseases. The vaccination visit can be especially traumatic and stressful for these families. Effective strategies exist to reduce pain and anxiety for families during the vaccination visit. This program will provide attendees with information on how to create accessible and neurodiversity-oriented vaccination procedures and practical tips to improve vaccine confidence.

Participants who view the entire webinar and complete an evaluation will be eligible to receive a resource kit, including tools to implement accessible vaccine practices at their vaccination site or clinic.

Register online to have access to the recording.
