Municipal Solar in NH: Understanding the Changing Solar Energy Landscape Webinar
The New Hampshire Municipal Association (NHMA) is hosting Revision Energy for a webinar on Aug. 18, from noon to 1 p.m. This webinar is timely considering the number of recent changes to New Hampshire's state policy regarding large-scale solar projects, one of which includes the recent passing of HB 315. This bill "revises the procedures applicable to municipal or county aggregators and municipal electric utilities for aggregation of energy services..." while also establishing "...an exemption under net energy metering for group net metered facilities that generate electricity to offset electrical
requirements of a group consisting of political subdivisions."¹
ReVision Energy's Dan Weeks and John Branagan will discuss practical applications for individual towns while presenting on case studies in Dover, Nashua, Keene, and Hanover.
The intended audience is town and city councilors, administrators, public works directors, and energy committees.
