Last 2 Weeks to Complete our Community Survey

This survey includes questions about the library district's value to the community, it's services and programs, and it's future directions. Even if you don't use the Library, we'd like to know what you think.

The online survey takes about 5-6 minutes to complete, and is available HERE.
Or through the QR code pictured to the right. Simply hover over the code with your smart phone camera to open the survey.

What's the Deal with Minecraft?
Minecraft Helps Build Social Skills

Played solo or as a team, Minecraft shines when kids work together as a team to create something amazing like a skyscraper or our current project in Hangouts a Zoo with all of the animals in game.
By working together with their friends to build something in game, they can feel the accomplishment of doing something with their peers all while having fun. Video games like Minecraft provide vital benefits to youth, helping them to express and control their emotions, build strong social ties, and spark creativity, imagination, peer engagement, and teamwork STEAM development. Open Vaccination Eligibility
Everyone Age 16+

Q. All 102 counties in IL? Yes!

Q. What should I do to register for a vaccine appointment? Everything you can. Sign up with your county health department first. Then go to every pharmacy site you can think of, including Walgreens, CVS, Jewel-Osco, Meijer, Mariano’s and Walmart. Check with your primary care physician to find out how to register through their medical network. Also call your city, village or even township and ask if a vaccination clinic is being planned.
Boxes, Boxes and More Boxes

As you can imagine, the Library receives a lot of materials during the week. And, in an effort to minimize our recycling costs, we put the boxes out in the vestibule for you to use. We get large book boxes and a multitude of other sized boxes.
So if you need boxes for storing or moving, stop by the library and feel free to take as many as you'd like!
We're OPEN Monday - Saturday
