This FREE and kosher event will include a bouncy castle for kids, pony rides, live entertainment, and a DJ! All are welcome, and there is no need to register. Bonus, LIFE & LEGACY® donors skip the line! On June 26 Paperny Family JCC welcomed over 130 seniors to the Golden Age Welcome Back BBQ. Attendees enjoyed wonderful entertainment from violinist Steven Klevskly, singer Hilda Smith, and the JCC’s very own Voices Choir! Also in attendance were MLA and Minister of Environment and Parks, Whitney Issik, and Councillor Kourtney Penner. Yasher Koach to Nessie Hollander who did a phenomenal job organizing the event – not a detail was missed! Kol Hakavod to the BBYO youth volunteers for doing an incredible job serving and cleaning up after the event, Aubrey Hollander and Barry Pechet who made excellent BBQ chefs, and to the JCC’s incredible maintenance team who worked so hard to make sure that everything was set up and taken down properly.
