The scaffolding is up in front of the building. Additional scaffolding will be going up in the back of the building next week. The scaffolding will be a familiar site for the next few months. It is anticipated all the repairs and restoration will not be completely completed until the spring.
Inside the library the hanging plaster was removed and the damaged area of the ceiling stabilized.
After last week's storm and resultant drippy ceiling, temporary covers were put in place on the roof to mitigate future drips.
As work progresses we will keep you updated. The library building is a treasured community resource and we see caring for it is an investment in our community's future.
