Courtyard Athens will provide a delicious menu of hors d'oeuvres and drinks. Bring plenty of business cards for networking and door prizes! This event is free and requires registration.

Melinda Allen has an extensive background in non-profit management, program development, and grants/reporting. While working in the non-profit arena Melinda has raised millions of dollars through; Federal, State, and Local grants. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee but has lived in several states which include; Georgia, Virginia, California, and Florida. Most recently, Melinda moved to the Athens area. One of her favorite verses is: Hebrews 6:19 "Hope anchors the soul". |

I've lived in Athens for 12 years; like most people I came to Athens for school and stayed for the charm. Working at Epting Events has given me an opportunity to meet and interact with the community in such a unique way. Getting the opportunity to celebrate the different organizations in Athens has been rewarding. LEAD has given me an opportunity to really get to know the Classic City and the fabulous people who influence our uniqueness. Being able to work along side such amazing leaders, while learning more about everything Athens has to offer, will be an experience I hold on to forever. |
