WINTER
Core Offerings
During the Advent season, we discovered we all are "Those Who Dream." It is a new year... what a perfect time to really live into that theme!

Warm up to these great opportunities at Sugar River to connect, dream, and grow in your faith this season!
Annual Winter Women's Retreat: "Dream Again"
Saturday, January 23 ~ 10:00 am - Noon
Dive into the new year with dreams fueled by hope and promise.
Sugar River's Rachele Rickels, Certified Yoga Instructor, will open our event! She will help us prepare our minds and body with guided breathing and several easy-to-do chair yoga movements while tying in our theme for the day.

Lori Nebel, Licensed Professional Counselor and founder of Living Well is back by popular demand and will lead this interactive presentation. The scripture focus for the event just happens to be the verse that inspired Sugar River's Breakthrough Prayer!
Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
  and streams in the desert.
Isaiah 43: 18-19

Lori says: "I am a counselor who believes that everyone has the opportunity to live a life that is meaningful ~ full of purpose and contentment. As a Christian, I believe that our physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing are highly integrated." We'll also revisit her soul-stirring question: "If its true, don't you want to know it?" Join us for this meaningful time of connection, learning and inspiration... to dream again. Invite a friend!

Registration for this Zoom event is required (meeting link & passcode will be provided in a confirmation email).
*While this event is focused toward women, all are welcome to learn more about the context & join if interested.

It's hard to believe, but Lent is right around the corner!
Stay tuned for more information coming soon on weekly Core groups and new events with our church-wide Lenten focus: "Made for a Miracle."
Begins mid-February.

Core development begins with our soul centered in God. From that center we develop spiritual practices that lead to a vital relationship with God, others, and ourselves.

We encourage all at Sugar River to sign up for at least one group per year!

Looking to lead a group or have an idea for an event but need some help getting it off the ground?
We're always ready to support and talk to leaders, helping you share your gifts, passion and dreams!
