SYC Volleyball recently funded and facilitated installation of a new in-ground volleyball system at Orange Hunt Elementary School. This is a great improvement over the portable standards that have been used in the past and will benefit our volleyball players for years to come! A BIG THANK YOU to Deanna Murray, our SYC Volleyball Commissioner! Deanna is thrilled with the new in-ground system and hopes to fund additional systems at other area schools in the future!

Spring Break is next week! Do you have something for the kids to do? Be sure you do -sign them up for Spring Break Soccer Camp! SYC coaching staff will provide players with a chance to learn new skills and play lots of soccer in a fun camp environment. Each day will be filled with engaging soccer-based activities, technical challenges, small-sided games, and camp wide games. Join us for a technical and ball mastery camp where players will develop core skills and increase their soccer IQ. Players will work on a variety of topics daily with each morning finishing with our World Cup or NEW Soccer Tennis tournament!

Come out and support our UPSL men's team, SYC UNITED at their home games this season! All home games are held at West Springfield High School stadium field, 6100 Rolling Road, Springfield, Va. Every home game will be SYC CLUB NIGHT! ALL players who come in an SYC jersey get in for FREE! Tickets are $5 each, season ticket discounts are available. First game is Saturday, April 1st!

On March 25th, the SYC Cheerleaders performed at the West Springfield High School Buddies Club "Ballin' with Buddies" basketball tournament. The Buddies Club is an inclusive club for students of all abilities where kids are able to work on social skills through various leisure activities. Teams from area schools attended the tournament, and the SYC Cheerleaders perform a halftime routine at the event. Great job, cheerleaders!
