TODAY'S CONGREGATIONAL MEETING

The Session has called a Special Congregational Meeting for Sunday, January 10, at
9 a.m. via Zoom, in order to receive and act upon the report of the Associate Pastor Nominating Committee (APNC).

Please plan to be a part of this crucial moment in our congregation’s life and ministry. We will offer a Combined Worship service at 11 a.m. (see details below).

We will hear a report from the APNC about their process and why they feel this candidate is called by God to this position.

We will then hear from the candidate herself on her own sense of call as revealed through this process. There will be an opportunity for you to ask questions of either the APNC or the candidate, and then the candidate will be dismissed from the meeting for the APNC to make the motions of calling the candidate and establishing terms of call (salary, etc.).

Once the presentation is finished and the vote is taken, the candidate will be brought back into the meeting (assuming she is elected) for some final words and a closing prayer.

Details for today's schedule are at the bottom.
It is with great pleasure, excitement, and pride that the Associate Pastor Nominating Committee (APNC) introduces our candidate for FPCB's first-ever Associate Pastor of Formation and Justice. This position will focus on three strategic mission priorities: justice; ministries for children and families; and engaging people, beyond our current membership, in the life and ministries of our church.

We also ask that you keep this information confidential until it is officially announced on our church website.
We are pleased to introduce:

The Reverend Lindsey Altvater Clifton
