GENERAL
FREE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH
The cafeteria is offering curbside pickup for a free breakfast and lunch every school day from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm. Come to the Gate 3 entrance before Basswood where the line forms outside the gym. This program is open to any student 18 and under and recipients do not need to be enrolled in PVPUSD. No pre-order required. All meals include an entrée, choice of milk and seasonal fruit and vegetables. Menus are at pvpusdschoolnutrition.net.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no food distribution Friday, Dec. 18 through Friday, Jan. 1, 2021.

Enjoy the mayhem and madness of a live radio performance from the comfort of your home when the Peninsula Drama Department performs A 1940s Christmas Carol Friday, Dec. 18 at 7:30 pm; Saturday, Dec. 19 at 2:00 pm; and Sunday, Dec. 20 at 7:30 pm. CORE BOOK RETURNS
Winter break begins soon and you need to return your CORE novels to the library as soon as possible unless you need them for finals. No need to park and come on campus. There is a 24 hour book drop located by the driveway to the gym. All CORE novels must be turned in by this Friday, Dec. 18 when winter break begins.

BOOK COLLECTION
Attention government and econ students-bring your textbooks to the front of the gym this Wednesday, Dec. 16, Thursday, Dec. 17 or Friday, Dec. 18 after your final.

HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE
Help your neighbors in need and bring your donations of non-perishables to the PVPUSD holiday food drive TODAY through Thursday, Dec. 17. The need is great for a variety of food including tuna, soup, canned fruits and veggies, baby food and diapers, dog and cat food and more. Donations may be dropped off at the Malaga Cove Administration Center, 375 Via Almar, PV Estates or the PVPUSD warehouse, 38 Crest Road West, Rolling Hills between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.

PEF FUNDRAISER

CELEBRATE THE SEASON
And help the Peninsula Education Foundation at the same time. If you donate a minimum of $1,500 to PEF by Dec. 30, you will be entered into the special holiday drawing for dinner for two at Terranea's Mar'sel restaurant accompanied by a bottle of Opus One wine. P.S.A.T. ONLINE BOOT CAMP
Get ready for the Jan. 26 PSAT or the spring SAT's by taking the two day virtual boot camp offered by DB Academics. Classes are held on Saturday, Jan. 23 and Sunday, Jan. 24. S.A.T. PREP
DB Academics is offering a SAT prep program on Zoom for the March 13 test. It includes 22 instructional hours, three practice tests, and optional essay classes. Classes are Sunday, Jan. 31 to Thursday, March 11. For more information, go to dbacademics.com. This is also a fundraiser for Peninsula's PTSA.
 
COUNSELING
PROGRAM CHANGES
If you need to make a program change for second semester, complete your counselor's program change request form on Peninsula's website under Panther Picks or the Counseling web page. Deadline to add a new class is Friday, Jan. 8. Deadline to request a level change is Friday, Feb. 19.

COLLEGE CAREER CENTER
CSU DEADLINE EXTENDED
To better serve high school students facing university admission challenges caused by COVID-19, California State University (CSU) extended its fall 2021 priority application deadline to TOMORROW, Dec.15, 2020 at 11:59 pm PST. The Cal State Apply Support hours have been extended as well. Students are encouraged to send in their applications ASAP.
