On Friday August 13th, John Bailey, President of Bailey Family of Companies, received the "Citizen of the Year" award from the Spring Grove Lions Club.

Each year they select a resident who goes above and beyond to make contributions to their community.

GNJMA Participates in Joint Association Meeting
GNJMA participated in the Joint Association Meeting for northeastern state and regional associations last week. New England Bus Association, Connecticut Bus Association, Bus Association of New York and Pennsylvania Bus Association represented as well.

The event was held at Southbridge Hotel & Conference Center in Southbridge Massachusetts. The program included Advocacy Education, Insurance Panel, Driving Force, FMCSA Updates, Ransomware Discussion and the Future of Tourism.

The Joint Association Meeting planning committee met via Zoom for several months to put it together.
GNJMA Writes Schumer, Pelosi, McCarthy and McConnell for Pandemic Relief Assistance
On behalf of 22 state and regional associations in the motorcoach industry, GNJMA sent a letter to Schumer, Pelosi, McCarthy and McConnell on August 31, seeking their support for including an additional $6 billion for the CERTS program in the reconciliation package now under discussion.  Read the letter.
Keep Advocating for $6B More in Reconciliation
Action Needed: Tell your US Representative and Senators they must use reconciliation to ADD $6 billion for CERTS Grants before more motorcoach businesses are lost.
