Chamber Connection
November 2020
Dear Chamber,
LGBTQ+ VIRTUAL JOB WEEK

Our LGBTQ+ Virtual Job Week is back! Beginning today, we have a host of webinars lined up, along with 1-on-1 resume review appointments, and a wide range of job openings posted on our job board. See below for the full schedule and links to register!

ALL WEEK, NOVEMBER 16–20

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 16

Job Seeker Basics
12–1PM

Enhance your career and find that perfect job! Join this webinar hosted by Chamber members TierPM, titled "Insider Tips from a Staffing Agency: Guide to a Successful Job Search." This one-hour workshop will cover the basics of job hunting such as resume writing, interview tips, and how to find open positions of interest to you.
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 17

Networking in a Pandemic — Is That Even Possible?
12–1PM

Join MA LGBT Chamber member Robbie Samuels, a virtual event design consultant, TEDx speaker, and relationship-based business strategist, to learn how to network effectively despite the need for social distancing. He is the author of "Croissants vs. Bagels: Strategic, Effective, and Inclusive Networking at Conferences" and has been recognized as a "networking expert" by Inc., Forbes, and Lifehacker. Robbie will share tips and strategies to help you continue networking whether you're able to attend in-person events or those events are canceled, postponed, or held virtually.

Robbie believes in the power of networking and has put it to the test. When his expertise teaching networking at (in-person) events was no longer marketable, he started hosting a free weekly #NoMoreBadZoom Virtual Happy Hour. That event, which he's hosted since March 13, 2020, has attracted hundreds of participants and helped him launch an entirely new business. His reinvention was a success as he now regularly receives referrals from his network for clients looking for virtual event design strategy and support.

Attend this webinar to learn how you too can wake up your existing network, deepen connections with people who believe in you, and strategically broaden your reach.
