Summer Worship Schedule Starts Sunday!!
9 am and 10:30 am
Please mark your calendars and set your phones and alarm clocks and any other devices that will remind you of this change to our schedule. We will offer these two services through August 21. For this week the 9 am service will be traditional and the 10:30 am service will be contemporary. It is important that you sign-up for our in-person services as it is the means by which we record our weekly attendance. It also allows us to know the names of our guests. If at the last minute you decide you want to attend then please come. All are welcome.

Youth Choir from Plano, Texas
Wednesday, June 29, 7 pm
Brian Stenson, son-in-law of Paul and Mary-Hannah Klontz, is bringing his Youth Choir to Redeemer on Wednesday, June 29, at 7 pm. All are welcome! Please bring your family and friends. This is kid-friendly in that the performance will last about 30-45 minutes. Brian will invite our youth choir to join in the last song – God Bless America. Light refreshments will be served after the performance.
Wednesday PM Bible Study, June 29, 7 pm to 8 pm
Our summer Bible Study series continues as we study the Book of Deuteronomy. This week we will study Chapters 12-18. All are welcome. If you would like to join us then please use this Zoom link.

Vacation Bible School – Bible Camp, July 25 through 28 (9 am – 12 pm)
Camp counselors from our Lutheran Camp, Mar-Lu-Ridge, are coming to Redeemer to lead our youth in experiences that will keep them energized throughout the morning. The curriculum is geared towards the older youth so per their guidelines children must be between the ages of 6 and 11. The cost for the week-long camp is $20. We must limit the number of children to 25 so please sign-up as soon as possible. All children in this age range are welcome. Please share the good news with friends and neighbors!

Collecting School Supplies
SHARE will be collecting school supplies through July 15. Click here to find the list of needs. Donations can be dropped off at SHARE, 1367 Chain Bridge Road or you can put them on the cart by Door #10 at our church.
Stanley Carroll, a member of Redeemer and a First Class Scout in BSA Troop 698, is working on his “Citizenship in the Community” merit badge. He is collecting school supplies for Homestretch that is located in Falls Church. He is helping 3 different boys. One is entering 2nd grade, one is entering 7th grade (like Stanley) and one is entering college. The drive will run through July 22. Essay and Art Contest Flyer
Attached is a flyer for the 2022 Essay and Art Contest through Tysons Interfaith. The theme this year is "Out of Many One/Exploring Our Roots." Note that this year's contest is for those 12 and younger and for teenagers. You can submit entries at any time this summer or fall.
It is a wonderful activity for our young people. Details on how to enter are on the flyer, but if you have any questions, send a note to Irene ([email protected]) or Dave ([email protected]).
